Hi Rob,
For businesses that despatch 'goods, is not every package sent an opportunity to sell and include promotional materials such as business cards, flyers etc...?

Matthew, I tot tally agree for businesses that despatch 'goods, every package sent out is an opportunity to sell and include promotional materials.
The chances of promotional materials being opened and read by a Customer who has placed an order and received goods via the post I presume is higher than merely sending out pr material to someone who is a cold contact.

Hi Rob, yes, I am sure its higher.
As I look around my office, testament to this is the audiable.co.uk flyers I have sat in the majority of books I received from Amazon and the audiable account I have.
Lolly-pops are also a winner, however alas I don't seem to get these from Amazon, just the odd eBay seller that includes them. Always sweetens the deal.
Once you've grabbed the item from the package, do you not go hunting for the paper work too? I know I do.
